Pois é, precisamos também estar preparados para as perguntas que as famílias podem fazer. E elas farão muitas perguntas, podem ter certeza. Primeiro porque estão curiosos para te conhecer, e segundo porque precisam adquirir confiança na pessoa que será responsável por cuidar dos filhos deles.

- Can you adjust living with a foreign family and be a part of it?

- What is your parent's occupation?

- How large is your hometown? Is it a large city or a rural area?

- What is your last diploma you received? Are you a good student?

- What are your hobbies and interests?

- How is your driving and driving record?

- Do you have a criminal record?

- Do you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend?

- How would you spend your weekends here?

- Will you request any time off to observe certain religious days?

- How do we arrange the vacation schedules?

- Are you flexible? If we run little late from work, do you mind?

- Would you participate in our family outings or vacations?

Responda, ainda que mentalmente, a todas estas questões, para não ser pego de surpresa. Minha host me pegou de surpresa com algumas destas e, confesso, fiquei bem confusa, me embananei um monte nas respostas. No final deu tudo certo, ainda bem, mas podia ter sido pior. Ainda bem que fui rápida e consegui bolar uma resposta rapidamente, consegui lembrar de todas as palavras que precisava na hora. E ainda bem que minha host foi super compreensiva e entendeu que eu estava muito nervosa por ser nosso primeiro telefonema.

Bom, é isso, acho importante a gente estar preparada, não só para perguntar várias coisas, mas também para responder várias coisas também.
